The research is in-depth and client focused."

David M. “Merc” Pittinos was appointed to the Alumni Council of the University of Denver Sturm College of Law; His article Allen v. Steele: Use Caution in Giving Advice to Prospective Client was published in the May 2011 newsletter of the Business Law Section of the Colorado Bar Association.

Abraham J. Laydon was recently elected Vice President of Christian Legal Society.

Susan M. Gamel has joined the firm as Chief Operating Officer. Ms. Gamel has previously worked in multiple Director roles at Holme Roberts & Owen LLP, including overseeing operations, human resources, contracts and strategic projects for that firm’s 7 domestic offices and up to 500 people. Her article “Advancing Firm Strategy through Practical Contract Review,” was published in the May 2011 edition of The Colorado Lawyer.

Sarah Margaret Shechter has joined the firm as an associate.
