Greenwood Village, CO – January 22, 2009 – Herrick K. Lidstone, Esq. a partner at Burns, Figa & Will, P.C., will present “Legal Ethics: Securities Law Violations Liability and How to Avoid Violating the Securities Laws”; at Colorado Bar Association’s Fundamentals of Securities Law workshop. Lidstone will teach the Legal Ethics section of the workshop along with Cliff Stricklin, Esq.
The workshop will include; Securities Act Violations, Exchange Act Violations, Avoiding liability by using, Rule 10b5-1 trading plans, Enforcement of violations and Liability under the Colorado Securities Act.
Mr. Lidstone practices in the areas of business transactions, including corporate law, federal and state securities compliance, mergers and acquisitions, contract law, ethics, tax law, real estate law, and natural resources law. Mr. Lidstone's work includes the preparation of securities disclosure documents for financing transactions, as well as agreements for business transactions, partnerships, lending transactions, real estate and mineral property acquisitions, mergers, and the exploration and development of mineral and oil and gas properties.
