Theresa Mehringer


Theresa M. Mehringer is a shareholder of Burns Figa & Will, P.C., in Greenwood Village, Colorado. Ms. Mehringer practices in the areas of corporate finance, securities and business transactions.

Ms. Mehringer focuses on capital raising transactions, mergers and acquisitions, securities compliance for both public and private companies, and general corporate and tax matters that arise in connection with complex business transactions. She enjoys working with both public and private companies to help them achieve their business objectives and to execute their business plans.

Ms. Mehringer’s practice is a mix of sophisticated corporate finance transactions, where she provides both high level securities and tax experience. She has represented numerous public and private companies in financings and mergers/acquisitions.   • $60.0 million share acquisition of public company by public company, and related $16.0 unit offering, with cross border (Cdn.) securities and tax compliance issues (mining, public – 2010)

  • $6.5 million share acquisition of private company by public company (telecom, private – 2009)

  • $5.6 million equity financing (telecom, private – 2009)

  • $6.0 million equity venture financing (technology, private 2009)

  • $23.5 million share acquisition of private company by private company (sporting goods, private – 2009)

  • $4.0 million debt financing for equipment and growth capital (telecom, private – 2008)

  • $70.0 million cash acquisition of private company by private company (sporting goods, private – 2008)
