Biography

Matt Dillman has a diverse practice focusing on real estate transactions, land use development and commercial and real estate litigation.  Matt's clients include developers, contractors, real estate brokers, individuals, entrepreneurs, small businesses and fortune 500 companies as well as oil and gas drilling entities.  He has successfully litigated commercial cases on behalf of banks, public companies, and private businesses and has handled securities and corporate litigation for the firm's corporate clients.  Matt has achieved great results litigating construction defect cases and title disputes, and has handled a wide variety of real estate litigation matters.  He also represents investors and principals to protect their interests during corporate break-ups.

Primarily through his representation of land developers, Matt has become an expert on lending and banking issues.  During the current economic crisis, he has spent considerable time advising clients regarding foreclosure matters and work-outs with residential and commercial lenders.  Matt also provides general counsel to businesses and advises real estate brokers about contractual issues and brokerage duties.

Matt has great instincts which he has used to assist his clients close deals of many types and sizes.  In addition to handling both commercial and residential real estate transactions, he specializes in land use planning and regulation, annexation, zoning and other land use entitlements.  Matt has been instrumental in the development of several hotels, industrial parks and mixed-use projects around Colorado.

Matt is admitted to practice in the Courts of Colorado, the United States District Court for the District of Colorado, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit.
